Education
Our aims to provide Training Fellowships to health professionals from developing countries so that they can study palliative care in the UK and disseminate best practice to their colleagues. Many countries in sub-Saharan Africa, for example, face overwhelming demands for high-quality palliative care in response to the AIDS pandemic. By providing fellowships for health professionals to study in the UK, we can help to spread skills and best practice where they are most needed.
A typical Training Fellowship costs £20,000 and covers all study, travel and accommodation expenses for one year. Overseas Training Fellowships are the ideal way to promote and disseminate best practice around the world and create leaders of the future in palliative care.
