Education and Training
The Institute will be an international centre for education in palliative care, developing strong programmes tailored for international visitors, doctors, nurses and others training in palliative care, as well as for undergraduate, postgraduate and research students. The Institute will train over 400 students per year, with postgraduates training a further 7,000 medics. We calculate that this training will benefit around 70,000 patients a year as well as over 180,000 carers and families.
